John produced the Internet sensation Kid President for The Discovery Channel’s Hub Network. John wrote and guided the show to be a viable broadcast series. Ratings were great, and Kid President became a media sensation. The show also won a Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Award.

One of John’s current projects is this Fox pilot, starring the comedy legend Jerry Minor (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Black-ish), in which we’re taken us through the life of a fictional, and somewhat less-than-competent rapper. Told through the lens of a Danish news magazine, (Why we don’t know), Grand Marquee depicts an old-school rapper struggling both to regain relevancy in the hip-hop world and to maintain a relationship with his son.

This is quick montage to show where John cut his teeth. From being the only writer that Martin Short even entrusted to write for the famous Jiminy Glick character, to creating off the wall sketches for Andy Dick, Jack Black, and Ben Stiller.

Late Night TV
Dave is a longtime writer of Late Night TV mainly on Late Night with David Letterman, for which he received and Emmy nomination, and eight years as a senior writer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. This is a quick montage of a few segments from both shows.

NApkinBookEvery day for the last 5 years John has drawn a one-panel cartoon on a napkin and posted on the aptly named website Matta Napkin. After creating over 1,100 cartoons,  he partnered with Odd Charm Press to publish his work into a full color collection. It’s a 300 napkin-y peek into his irreverent world of zombie dieticians, paranoid flowers, and ventriloquists in love.

“Matta Napkin is a portal into a bizarre world of zombie dieticians, unicorn gyros, and other stuff nobody wants to explain to their kids. “

These comical and quirky approaches to pop culture and everyday life prove that art can have a humorous side.

This worth pursuing blog covers a “shload” of prime for hilarity subject matter, from dudes peeing sitting down to ventriloquists in love – if you don’t get the last one, you’re probably a dummy.

Be warned if you go to Matta Napkin you’ll be there for at least an hour laughing.
